Air to Water Heat Pumps

Air Source Heat Pumps take energy from the air and raise it to a higher temperature, using a process that is similar to a refrigeration cycle in reverse. The system comprises an external energy collector and an internal heating and hot water distribution unit providing heating through radiators or an underfloor system.
They require less space to install than ground source heat systems and are more suited to urban homes. There is a free and constant supply of energy in the air and this technology makes the most of it.
